Rare 1965 Sears Premium #216 M&SL Alco Diesel Outfit #9835/OB

This is the rare Sears Premium 027-gauge Outfit #9835 (Lionel #19454-500) with unique Sears Graphics that Lionel made in 1965. The Set also has a unique Track Plan with three Switches that is pictured on the top of the Outfit Box. Examine the pictures carefully. Included are the scarce Uncatalogued #216P M&SL Alco power unit, #213T M&SL Alco dummy unit with a common array of period freight cars as shown. Other items included are a #145 Automatic Gateman, #321-100 Trestle Bridge, 3-#76 Lamp Posts w/Box, #310 Billboards (Box only), #260 Bumper, #110-125 partial Set of 6 Trestle Piers, 3-1022 Manual Switches, #1073 Transformer, and some Paperwork along with a 1965 Catalog. Note that both of the Alco units have stress cracks on the coupler bars, and the the #213 is a distinctly different glossy Red. Our Opinion is that the Set is generally in overall Excellent Condition. The Original Outfit Box is in (7) Condition; complete, but shows signs of wear and water-staining. Very few of these large Set Boxes have survived to present day; we know of less than a dozen examples. All Original in our Opinion. Please add $40.00 for US-48 Shipping and Insurance.
