This is the amazing #12780 Santa Fe Presidential Passenger Set that Lionel issued in 1966.
Contents are #2383 Santa Fe F3 AA Diesels, Gold-Stripe Presidential #2521 Observation Car, #2522 Vista Dome, and two #2523 Pullmans, plus Banded O-gauge Track, UCS Section, Instruction Sheet, and Consumer Catalog.
Our Opinion is that the Outfit is in no-excuse Mint Condition.
The Cabs are Pristine and have spent their entire lives together; however, note one Nose Decal with thin Black-Stripe and Perfect, and other wider Black-Stripe and some faint cracking with age. Further note, all #2383 Nose Decals were the same Part No. Remember this was the middle 1960s, and no deference or consideration during Production was made to Stripes on Nose Decals.
Includes rock-solid, pure-White Outfit Box, great P/T Boxes, and superb Cellophane Car Boxes; it would be nearly impossible to find better.
Examine very, very closely, what is pictured is what you will receive.
