Interesting Pre-Production?? Brown #6561 Cable Reel Car

This is the possible??? Pre-production #6561 BROWN Cable Reel Car that Lionel would have made in the late 1940s.
We believe this is the same example from the Jim Sattler Collection featured on pg. 94 of McComas-Tuohy "The Archives".
On the positive side: This example first appeared in the early 1980s. And, it was painted Brown BEFORE the Step Assemblies and Brakestands were added, then rubber-stamped.
On the negative side: The 1980s had a plethora of 'unique' Fakes appearing on the market, and many examples found a home in the Sattler Collection. Also, the rubber-stamping looks 'suspicious' as the lettering is 'unique', and not properly aligned, and is smaller in size (although correct in font) than other 6561s.
Examine very, very closely, and bid accordingly; what is pictured is what you will receive.
If nothing more, will be collectible as 'curio', and become great conversation piece.
