This is the #2270W Jersey Central Passenger Set that Lionel made in 1956. One of the most highly sought of all Post War Outfits. This Set includes the #2341 Jersey Central FM with Dual Motors, Horn and Magnetraction, #2533 Silver Cloud Smooth-Channel Pullman, #2532 Silver Range Smooth-Channel Vista Dome. and the #2531 Silver Dawn Smooth-Channel Observation Car. The Engine has the usual faint screwhole cracks, but is very clean with nice Paint and the correct 1956-type FM Chassis; the Passenger Cars also have bright Original patina. Our Opinion is that the Set generally is in overall Excellent/Excellent Plus Condition. The Original Set Box is in (8-) Condition; firm, but has "2270" written on one-end. The Interior Boxes average (8-) Condition; note the 56+ Late Classic Passenger Boxes are the correct under-sized type without Inserts. Includes Lionel Wrapping Paper, plus Instruction Sheet and other Paperwork as pictured. All Original in our Opinion. Please add $60.00 for US-48 Shipping and Insurance.
